01

Measure

Measure your wrist circumference — typically 18–20 cm. Calculate cord length at roughly 1 foot per inch of wrist.

TIP

No measuring tape? Use string or paper first, then measure that.

02

Fold

Fold the cord in half and pass the loop through one side of the buckle. This loop is your starting point.

TIP

Check buckle orientation before starting — it's easy to flip it accidentally.

03

Weave

Repeat the Cobra Knot: left cord over right, right through the left loop. Maintain even tension throughout.

TIP

Apply equal tension on every knot to keep consistent thickness.

04

Lock

Once you reach the target length, lock the final knot. Thread both cords through the opposite buckle clip.

TIP

Make sure both strands feed evenly through the buckle clip.

05

Burn the End

Trim excess cord with scissors, then quickly melt the ends with a lighter. Press flat with a wet fingertip.

TIP

Wet your fingertip slightly before pressing the melted end to avoid burns.
